Michelle Obama Wears A Dusty Rose-Colored Crochet Turtleneck Top For A New Podcast Episode
Fall is officially here, and none other than the Becoming author is beginning to introduce her wardrobe for the season. Michelle Obama recently released a new episode of her viral podcast, IMO, which she hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson, and had a great transitional fall look on as she sat down for a conversation with American television writer and film producer, Mara Brock Akil.
This week, she spoke to the influential writer about raising young women. The mom-of-two wore a crochet turtleneck-style top that was a dusty rose color. The top was sleeveless, and she paired it with a dark pair of baggy pants. Michelle's outfit gave off major fall vibes, between the pastel yet autumnal color and the cozy crocheted texture.
For accessories, she had on some silver bangle earrings and wore her hair down and in long braids. After seeing her look in clips from the new episode on social media, fans commented that she looked "so stunning."

Michelle Receives Backlash For Her Comments On Dating And College
While her outfit certainly gained some attention, there was also a viral clip from the attorney's conversation with Mara, as they started discussing what it's like to raise young, college-age women in this day and age, especially young women of different ethnicities.
"There are a lot of young, Black people that get into college and they've never had a boyfriend or girlfriend," said Michelle, to which Mara responded, "I don't think that's healthy," and the podcast host agreed.
Their comments were part of a conversation about those living in more isolated, ethnic communities not necessarily having a similar college experience as other young adults, which later prompted an online debate after a clip of the conversation was shared on Instagram.
"I don't think there's anything wrong with never having a boyfriend or a girlfriend before you go to college," wrote an Instagram user.
"Michelle called my life unhealthy," added another. "It's not my fault."
Another wrote that the mom-of-two's comments "sound so judgy," and she has yet to respond to any backlash, especially since there were numerous users who also agreed with her. Either way, subject matter aside, fashion enthusiasts are awaiting what other fall looks she has in store for her episode recordings.
