Actress and general style icon Michelle Pfeiffer was on The Today Show on June 13 to discuss creating her own genderless perfume line, Henry Rose. The Ant-Man star admitted that she started her own fragrance company when she learned that many perfumes rank high on the toxicity scale. “A person shouldn’t have to on a daily basis by reading ingredients and looking this up and having to choose between performance and safety,” she confessed.
And Michelle dress up for the talk show: she sported a chic tan blazer, crisp white button-down shirt, and acid-wash skinny jeans. The best part? She designed the whole stylish outfit herself!

Michelle shared a photo of herself posing in the ensemble to her Instagram. She captioned the post, “All dressed up for @todayshow at 10:00 AM with @hodaandjenna! Talking about all things @henryrose.” The actress continued saying that the chic styling was all her doing, “Styling: my own stuff and days of texting back and forth with stylist @samanthamcmillen_stylist. My savior when I decide to go it alone.”

The tan, grayish jacket featured pockets, dark buttons, and a round collar. Michelle says that the blazer is from Brunello Cucinelli. The acid wash skinny jeans, which are from Celine, were high-waisted and had a loose, boot-cut at the hem. On her feet, Michelle donned brown suede boot heels from YSL.
As for the crisp white blouse, the Henry Rose founder said that it “has no tags and not sure who, but had it for a long time. Sorry!” For that effortlessly cool look, she left the blouse’s first two buttons open to give the appearance of a plunging neckline.
Her hair and makeup, also done by the showstopping actress-turned-stylist, were just as sophisticated as the rest of her look. She opted for a light smokey eye, full lashes, rosy cheeks, and a light pink lip. Michelle styled her herringbone-highlighted blonde hair straight and parted down the middle.
She finished off the ensemble with massive silver hoop earrings and a simple silver ring. And this isn’t the first time Michelle has stunned on a talk show. Back in December, the actress was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and stunned in a low-cut black velvet YSL dress with a lace trim.
