Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher Backtrack After Initial Support For Danny Masterson

Last year, Mila and Ashton faced serious criticism from fans after writing glowing character letters for Danny Masterson, who they co-starred with on That 70s Show. Mila wrote in her letter that she "could sense his innate goodness and genuine nature" from the moment she met him, specifying that she "wholeheartedly vouch for Danny Masterson's exceptional character."

Shortly afterwards, Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for the rape of two women. After this and backlash from fans, Mila and Ashton posted a video on Instagram apologizing for "the pain that has been caused by the character letters" they wrote. They continued by clarifying that they did not intend to "undermine the testimony of the victims or re-traumatize them in any way."

Kutcher even stepped down from the anti-child trafficking organization that he co-founded in 2012: Thorn. He posted a resignation letter on the Thorn website saying that he "cannot allow my error in judgement distract from our efforts and the children we serve."

Mila Kunis Won't Make The Same Mistake Twice

While some fans may have looked past their "error in judgement" (most haven't) Kunis especially doesn't want history to repeat itself. Last week, the FBI raided Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami, investigating allegations of sex trafficking. Shortly before the raids, Diddy was named the plaintiff in multiple lawsuits accusing him of rape and other accounts of sexual violence.

Ashton Kutcher has been friends with Diddy for over twenty years, and might even be subpoenaed by the authorities investigating Diddy, but Kunis will have no part in any of it. "There is no way in hell Ashton or Mila will be showing any sort of public support for Diddy right now," a source told Daily Mail.

"Regardless of Ashton's long history with [Diddy]," the source continued, "he has distanced himself from Diddy since [the] lawsuit, and even more so in the wake of the new ones. Mila will not let Ashton be in any sort of contact."
