Miley Cyrus is the star of this year’s Amazon Music holiday celebrations, and she came ready to perform.
The special, called Holiday Plays, features performances from Cyrus and Lil Nas X–plus, of course, all the holiday music you could possibly want. During the December 1 livestream, Cyrus performed several songs from her latest Plastic Hearts, including “Prisoner,” “Midnight Sky,” and “Plastic Hearts.” She also included a Christmas classic in her setlist, performing her own rendition of Wham!’s his “Last Christmas.”

Cyrus chose a scandalous outfit for her set--surprising absolutely no one.
For the performance, the "Wrecking Ball" singer opted for a punk rock look, picking out an edgy, all-black look for her festive performance.
Although leather and fishnets might not be exactly what we think of when we hear 'holiday special,' Cyrus's look worked perfectly for the special.
She paired a tiny black crop top with an equally short studded mini skirt, showing off her toned tummy and long legs. Silver chains, buckles, and fishnet tights added an extra edge to her bold outfit.
In some photos, Cyrus was also spotted sporting a black Santa hat.

During a teaser for the holiday special, Lil Nas X comments on Miley's punk-version of Christmas, and suggests adding some more holiday cheer to her outfit.

However, Cyrus soundly rejects all of his recommendations. When he tells her, "So I was thinking, you gotta Christmas up your performance, you know?" Miley responded, "No, it doesn't really go with my look."
She also rejects his suggestions of adding a Christmas tree hair piece and adding a flair of the Nutcracker to her wardrobe.
Cyrus definitely seemed happy to participate in the special, touching on how personal the performance was for her.
She explained to People, "This Amazon Music special is unlike anything I’ve ever done before. In creating my set, I wanted to mimic a world that showcased specific reference points of my life. We all have a history and I’ve had an incredibly unique life: I’ve been on magazines and posters since I was a kid, and people have seen the tough, beautiful, hard, and glamorous points of it all. This is me, and this performance is about my evolution – embracing all versions of it."
