The hotly anticipated Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party with Pete Davidson was definitely worth the wait, and let’s just say that it isn’t hard to understand why it was such a big hit with viewers! As well as hilarious skits, viewers were treated to musical appearances from Jack Harlow, Anitta, and Kitty Ca$h, as well as truly memorable performances from Miley Cyrus herself with the Saturday Night Live comedian, Brandi Carlile, Saweetie, 24kGoldn, and 21-year-old younger sister Noah Cyrus. And it goes without saying but we’ll say it anyway – the 29-year-old “Plastic Hearts” singer’s style game was stronger than ever, thanks to some truly spectacular pieces she wore throughout the entire show!
The very daring sequin flapper-inspired black Bob Mackie gown Miley wore in the promo images definitely gave us a small taster of what we could expect from her, and we certainly weren’t disappointed! It was quite hard to choose a favorite, as there were so many sensational looks, but we ultimately decided that the green Bronx And Banco ab-baring cutout gown that the “Midnight Sky” singer wore during a skit with Kim Kardashian’s new beau about their 2022 resolutions was the clear winner!

The “Angels Like You” musician wore a very provocative glittering one-shouldered floor-length gown in a very fun and party-ready shade of light green, and it featured more cutouts than we have ever seen on one single dress! As well as featuring an enormous cutout from her chest to her waist on one side, it also had a few other smaller cutouts on the other side too – because when you have abs as toned and as sculpted as Miley’s, one cutout is definitely not enough! Miley finished her show-stopping look off by styling her hair in an edgy updo, with her bangs still visible at the front, and adding a bright shade of red lipstick to make the whole look pop even more!
The celebs were certainly fond of cutout dresses in 2021, but if Miley’s dress is anything to go by, the trend is only going to get racier in the new year! And we haven’t even mentioned the navel high slit yet, which took the sexiness of the dress to new heights! Can we even call it a slit if the whole dress is seemingly held together by what looks like a small gold chain? Either way, it was one of the sexiest dresses we have ever seen, and we are almost certain that the celebs will try to outdo it on the red carpet in 2022!

Some of Miley’s other super-sexy high fashion looks included a multicolor mini skirt complete with a barely-there Dolce and Gabbana bra as a top (one of the hottest trends of 2021 without a doubt!) and a sparkly feather multicolor jacket, a skintight red jumpsuit paired with a matching red Saint Laurent blazer, a red feather trimmed mini dress with a train from the brand new Gucci Spring 2022 collection, a Versace silver fringed jumpsuit with a daring plunging front, and even an Akna metal mesh skirt with the matching ripped barbed wire top, which she had an actual wardrobe malfunction in!
Yes, Miley’s metallic top literally fell apart while she was performing “Party in the U.S.A,” but she handled it like a true pro and temporarily left the stage to quickly change back into the red Saint Laurent blazer and carry on with the rest of the performance. When she returned to the stage, she laughed the whole thing off and joked that even with her top falling off, “I’m still in the most clothes that I’ve ever worn on stage.” We are obsessed with the way she handled that! Can Miley and Pete please host every NYE show from now on?!
