Modern Warrior supplement recalled for undeclared ingredients

Consumers across the United States who purchased the Modern Warrior Ready supplement between April 2022 and December 8, 2025 are being directed by the FDA to stop use immediately.

The supplement's undeclared ingredients pose risks of potentially life-threatening events. "Tianeptine can cause life-threatening events, including suicidal ideation or behavior in children, adolescents, and adults aged 25 years and younger. In addition, overdose carries serious and potentially life-threatening risks, including confusion, seizures, drowsiness, dry mouth, and shortness of breath, which can be exacerbated by alcohol use," the FDA release from Jan. 9 reads.

The FDA also notes that the stimulant DMAA can "raise blood pressure and lead to cardiovascular problems ranging from shortness of breath and tightening in the chest to heart attack."

Finally, aniracetam (likely the "nootropic" the supplement's label refers to) is not FDA-approved in the United States.

Consumers who purchased Modern Warrior should discontinue use immediately. To determine if you’re affected, check your purchase records to confirm whether Modern Warrior was bought during the recall period. Taking these precautions and staying on top of recalls is a crucial part of protecting yourself and your household.

Supplements like Modern Warrior are often marketed as wellness boosters, but recalls serve as a crucial reminder that not all dietary products are rigorously tested for safety before they reach the market. Many supplements come with serious risks.

If you want to get healthier, go the truly natural route and stick to healthy habits.

Stay safe!
