1. Delete Large Files
Large files on your phone that take up tons of space include media and large attachments in email. You can remove these to free up space. In Apple Music, go to Settings > Music > Downloaded Music and delete by artist or album. To delete podcasts, open the app and swipe left to remove individual podcasts. And to trim down the number of TV shows and movies you have, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > TV, then delete downloaded videos.
2. Offload Unused Apps
When you offload unused apps, you save storage space but you also avoid deleting personal data or settings associated with the app, so you can easily bring it back from the dead if you choose to, with your data still intact. This is an especially good option for those apps that you rarely use. There are two ways to offload apps: manually and automatically. Offload apps manually by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, or let your iPhone do it automatically when your storage is low by heading to Settings > App Store > Offload Unused Apps.
3. Delete Photos and Videos
Before you delete photos and videos, make sure you go through them and save the ones that you cherish to the Cloud. This preserves them, but it will free up storage once you delete them from your device. Open Photos > Albums > Videos or Live Photos. Delete large media files you don’t need, and then go to Photos > Recently Deleted and empty the folder to free space.
