Nicole Kidman shut down the red carpet in a head-turning black gown with a central, sultry cutout last week (and no, we’re still not over it!)
The 56-year-old Oscar winner graced the London launch event for her upcoming series, Special Ops: Lioness, in a floor-length Yves Saint Laurent dress. The garment’s keyhole element helped put Kidman’s sculpted abs and tiny waist on full display, and she added opera-length sheer gloves to dazzle up her ensemble even more.
The mom of four uploaded a five-part photo collection of shots from the evening in a July 12th Instagram post for her 9.5 million followers. Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of her subtly risqué get-up.

Nicole Kidman Turns Heads On The Red Carpet In Daring Cutout YSL Gown
Kidman’s IG post began with an artsy black-and-white pic that showed her in the standout YSL number, posing beside a mirror. The next image was a cute pic of her smiling alongside Special Ops: Lioness co-star Zoe Saldana. The third and fourth slides gave fans a better view at her full outfit for the night, as well as Saldana’s.
The Big Little Lies alum topped off her photo dump with a fifth and final photo— an elegant solo red carpet shot that gave followers a better view of the item’s halter neckline, rosette detailing, and long, dramatic skirt. Kidman captioned her post: “London Late Nights” with a sparkle emoji.

As for her glam for the event, the Moulin Rouge star wore her signature strawberry blonde tresses in a center-parted low ponytail with loose tendrils falling at the sides of her face.
For her makeup look, the Eyes Wide Shut actress went for silvery, smokey eyeshadow, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a glossy pink pout. Apart from her sheer gloves, Kidman accessorized her look for the screening with sparkling diamond stud earrings.

Kidman’s stunning post (unsurprisingly) garnered thousands of likes and comments. One fan wrote, regarding her edgy attire: “exquisite and alluring Nicole.” Someone else commented: “What. A. Dress” with black heart emojis. One other commented: “What a true Beauty beauty BEAUUUUTTTY.”
