Nicole Kidman Reportedly Thinks Keith Urban Is Going Through A 'Midlife Crisis'
Last year, country music fans and pop culture lovers alike were taken aback once they heard the news that the Babygirl actress and her musician husband of almost 20 years were getting a divorce.
The news was officially confirmed at the end of this past September, when sources revealed that they were not only separated and no longer sharing a home in Nashville, but that Nicole had filed for divorce via public records. Surprisingly, neither of the famous pair has made an official statement about their split yet. Still, there have been a lot of reports coming out from inside sources about how they're handling it, and even how Keith is allegedly trying to move on.
At the start of this year, numerous reports were flying around that the "Someone Like You" singer was dating younger women, including women in the music industry. Two names that flew around were Maggie Baugh, a 25-year-old musician who played with him on tour, and country singer Karley Scott Collins. Collins ended up having to deny that they were together, but word that he's still seeing younger women has not ceased, and his ex-wife sees it almost like a cry for help.
An insider close to the actress told OK! Magazine that "she's framed it less as scandal and more as a midlife crisis phase, and is making a joke of it."
Nicole Is Allegedly 'Disappointed' By Keith's Actions
Despite the word that she's laughing some of these incidents off, sources are claiming that the Oscar-winner is not quite pleased with her ex's actions, likely due to their having two teenage daughters.
"[She] isn't sitting at home blindsided by any of this," the source told the above publication. "If anything, there's a sense of weary acceptance. What she feels is more disappointment than shock."
Additionally, the source added that Nicole felt like Keith was "trying to prove something, perhaps to himself as much as to anyone else." Now, in terms of where she'll go from here, aside from her exciting upcoming projects like being a co-chair for the 2026 Met Gala, her focus is reportedly on her two girls, Sunday Rose and Faith.
"She's very deliberate about keeping life steady, reassuring her kids, and making sure the noise from outside doesn't define how they feel about their parents or themselves," the source added.
