Now that summer has officially begun and the weather is finally staying above 70 degrees, you don’t want to be locked inside with a sore throat or a stuffy nose.

But, like with all colds, you never know when it’s going to strike your immune system. Instead of waiting until all of your co-workers are sneezing and coughing around you, take the necessary steps NOW to prevent yourself from getting a cold.

There’s one food you need to eat at night if you’re serious about boosting your immune system. This fruit is loaded with vitamin C and will help keep your body feeling strong and healthy.

You know what they say: A papaya a day keeps the doctor away. Okay, it’s not exactly what they say, but you should be eating a serving of papaya if you want to boost your immunity. Not only is this super fruit filled with vitamin C goodness, but it also has anti-inflammatory effects that work wonders to prevent sickness.

It’s also got loads of potassium, B vitamins, and folate, which are all extremely beneficial to your body’s overall health. So, what are you waiting for? Go get some papaya!
