Noah Cyrus made headlines after her performance at the CMT Awards earlier this week.
Cyrus performed “This Is Us” with Jimmie Allen, but her outfit got more attention than the song itself. The 20-year-old’s wardrobe choice was definitely bold–and got equal amounts of praise and criticism from those watching the awards.

For her performance, Cyrus opted for something very daring to put it mildly.
She wore a sheer bodysuit with strategically placed rhinestones in the shape of a (very skimpy) bikini. She added over-the-knee white boots to the outfit as well as long white gloves and a white cowboy hat. Check out the look here:

Definitely a more risqué outfit than we're used to seeing on the CMT Awards stage!
Her outfit choice drew a lot of commentary--both good and bad--and Noah had the perfect response for critics.
When one troll wrote, "Not appropriate in my eyes. CMT set your standards a little higher next time. I’d like to be able to watch with my granddaughter."
Noah quipped back, "Honey, your granddaughter will wear that someday."
Later, a different Twitter user commented, "Loved the song but girl you need to put some clothing on. Not a good choice."
Noah again was ready with a response, replying, "my body my choice, b****."
No matter what you think about her bold outfit choice, it's hard not to draw a comparison between Noah's CMT performance and her older sister Miley's VMA Performance in 2013, which was similarly criticized at the time.
If this does mean Noah's following in Miley's footsteps, it looks like she has a long and successful music career ahead of her.
