North West refuses to let the haters steal her sparkle.
Kim Kardashian’s 12-year-old daughter fired back at critics on TikTok following backlash over her controversial finger piercing.
In the video, she lip-synced to an audio clip from reality star Chrisean Rock, saying, “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.” She also added text over the clip that read, “This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.”
North West Claps Back At Haters Over Finger Piercing
The preteen appeared in full glam, sporting false eyelashes and lip liner, with her hair worn down and accented with green streaks on the sides. She completed the look with a baggy jersey, a mini skirt, sheer tights, chunky sneakers, and a chunky diamond necklace.
North sports a dermal piercing on her middle finger, which has sparked online debate. Both she and her mom, have addressed the criticism, with North posting TikToks defending her choice and reassuring viewers that “it’s okay” to be upset. The single-point, or microdermal, piercing sits flat under the skin and was first seen publicly in August/September 2025.
Her finger piercing sparked an online uproar, with fans quickly blaming Kim for allowing her young to get what they considered a risky piercing.

Social Media Reacts To North West's Finger Piercing
At the time of North's finger piercing, comments online included: “I remember I wanted to get a pair of pink shoes as a teenager and my dad said no. Parents job is to keep the kid in line and say no sometimes.”
“This is not how life should be for a 12 year old.”
“Neither of her parents are a good influence. It's likely she would be acting 'too grown' either way.”
The mother of four has previously stated that she doesn’t interfere with North’s creativity and self-expression, allowing her oldest daughter with Kanye West to fully express herself.

“I'm like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” the Skims mogul told host Alex Cooper on an Oct. 15 episode of Call Her Daddy. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
