Outshine No Sugar Added Strawberry Fruit Bars Recalled
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently announced a recall for Outshine No Sugar Added Strawberry Fruit Bars. This is a voluntary recall by Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, Inc, due to the fact that these fruit bars may contain an undeclared milk allergen, which could be dangerous for certain individuals with milk allergies and sensitivities.
The company believes that trace amounts could have ended up in these fruit bars, which were meant to be dairy-free, due to a faulty valve.
The recall includes 6-count packages of the fruit bars that were sold at Kroger in VA, WV, OH, and KY, as well as Shoprite in MD, PA, VA, and NJ; and Wal-Mart in AR, MO, TN, MS, KY, AL, and LA.
