Ever since they were first spotted holding hands at an amusement park in October 2021, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian became the Internet’s favorite new (unconfirmed) couple. Now, after months of fans analyzing cryptic posts on Kardashian’s Instagram and spotting the two on dates, they’re official!

While neither the Saturday Night Live cast member, 28 or the reality star, 41, have never made it official on social media, Davidson just went public with his relationship status in a new PEOPLE interview. He confirmed what we already knew to be true in the cutest way— he and Kardashian are most definitely an item.

Davidson sat down for a video chat with Kay Adams, host of PEOPLE (The TV Show!) to speak about his partnership with Hellman’s Mayo for a  Super Bowl commercial and also opened up about adjusting to life in the spotlight and reaching higher levels of fame.

“Most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set,” the comedian said in his bedroom. “Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So I don’t do much,” he continued, referring to Kardashian, with the official title.

Later that day, Davidson did another interview from his room with NBCLX‘s Tabitha Lipkin and he spoke about his plans to move from Staten Island to Brooklyn. His interviewer (and fans who continue to post about it on Twitter) were quick to spot a candle with Kardashian’s face on it placed on his nightstand. Aww!

Pop culture’s favorite new couple might be unfortunately caught up in Kanye West-induced drama right now, but sources close to Davidson and Kardashian have revealed that the two are crazy about each other. Here’s to Kimete, Pim, or whatever their fans will inevitably dub the two lovebirds!
