It’s no secret that Piers Morgan is not a fan of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And it should come as no surprise to learn that the opinionated journalist had a lot to say about some of their most recent antics!

The Piers Morgan Uncensored host wasted no time in slamming the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their recent trip to Disneyland, California, which they took with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to celebrate their daughter’s fourth birthday. More specifically, the fact that the As Ever founder documented the trip on social media, but only shared pictures of the back of the children’s heads, or covered their faces with emojis!

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Enjoy VIP Treatment At Disneyland

A royal commentator claimed that the family got the full VIP treatment for their Disney trip, meaning they took advantage of special entrances and exits used by cast members, and skipped lines for rides so that they could remain undetected. The children reportedly also wore Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse hats and sunglasses as they made their way through the park, to avoid being recognized and photographed.

According to Sky News Australia, royal commentator Rupert Bell claimed the Sussexes were in “the VIP lane with extra bells on” during their time at Disneyland. Another insider explained more about what this VIP treatment could have entailed…

“Celebrity guests are typically driven around by a personal tour guide backstage so they don’t have to go through the crowds in the park and [they get to] use cast member entrances backstage to enter the rides,” the insider explained. They added: “And they probably had lunch either in Walt’s apartment or in Club 33, which is a very exclusive Disney club.”

Piers Morgan Slams Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Disneyland Pictures

The main thing the former Britain's Got Talent judge had a problem with was the fact that the former Suits actress shared a post of the family at Disneyland with her Instagram followers – albeit with the kids' faces covered – featuring pictures and video footage from their trip, despite her and Prince Harry previously begging for privacy. He seemed to suggest that he found it both hypocritical and confusing that they were sharing so much, but still wanted to cover the children's faces.

One of the photos the With Love, Meghan star shared in the Instagram post showed her striking a pose for the camera and smiling while wearing some light-wash jeans, an oversized white shirt, and a black Minnie Mouse hat. She posed alongside Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, while Prince Harry, who was wearing a black sweater, crouched down to hug Prince Archie. The children's faces were covered with heart emojis – red for Prince Archie, and pink for Princess Lilibet. And Morgan was not impressed!

Morgan shared a screenshot of that particular picture with his followers on X, and captioned it: "Celebrities that constantly post pix of their kids to promote their parenting credentials, but block their faces out like this to pretend they care about their privacy, make me chuckle. We see you…"

Internet Reactions

The Piers Morgan: Life Stories host wasn't the only one who took issue with this, as many other social media users agreed with him. "Spot on!" exclaimed one X user. "Coming from people who have proclaimed their want for privacy, and have spent all their time since then appearing in front of cameras," agreed a second.

"Why post pics if blocking?" asked a third, as a fourth questioned: "Why include them in a pic if you're going to block their faces? Stupid games." "Privacy on their own terms," concurred a fifth X user, followed by the crying laughing emoji.

"Part of the world-wide privacy tour. Smile kids, me and your mum are selling our souls," slammed a sixth X user, as a seventh enquired: "Why keep issuing photos and videos didn't they want their privacy?"
