It seems that perhaps Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only ones with a less-than-perfect marriage (if we are to believe the reports) as Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, have been rumored for some time now to possibly be divorcing, with previous reports stating that the Duke of Sussex “called in the lawyers some months ago” to try and come up with the best plan should he and Meghan go their separate ways.
However, one insider close to the couple has spoken out about the speculation, saying in no uncertain terms that the rumors are simply “not true.” This comes following a RadarOnline report published Tuesday claiming that the royal couple are “taking time apart” to try and heal their marriage.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Divorce Rumors
The first wave of divorce rumors came from British-Jamaican author, socialite, and television personality Lady Campbell, i.e., Lady C, who told Dan Wootton on GB News that her information came from at least five separate insiders.
"There have been problems in the marriage supposedly for some time," Lady C said. "I mean, I have heard from five totally reliable sources that Harry called in the lawyers some months ago," she continued, before going on to say: "The problem is that the information doesn't necessarily match up with their public face. But of course, their public face is to an extent slapped on for monetary gain."
This wouldn’t be the most far-fetched thing, either, as we recently reported that Kate Middleton is forced to put on a brave face despite the royal rift between her husband Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, affecting her.
Lady C continued: "And also if there are real problems in the marriage, which there do appear to be, Harry's going to have a heck of a time extricating himself, because he has been very overt about all of his failings and all of his drug-taking."
However, despite the rumors, Lady C then almost went back on herself, and confessed that her sources might not actually be the most accurate, and we should essentially take everything with a grain of salt.
"He's not in a very good position legally in terms of preserving his position, especially in terms of custody of the children, but I don't, I don't know that it's got to that stage yet," she continued, adding, "And you also have to be very careful what you believe, because anything coming from Montecito can very easily be a lie."
Another Author Says Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Not Divorce: 'Their Marriage Is Their Power'
On the contrary, British journalist and author Petronella Wyatt penned an interesting piece in The Telegraph, essentially suggesting that the Sussexes will never divorce as "their marriage is their power."
"Expedience has held more relationships together than that crazy thing called love," she wrote in her piece published on May 30th. "Harry and Meghan may be one-trick ponies but I doubt they will ever consciously uncouple," she said, adding, "According to friends of mine in LA who know Harry and Meghan socially, their dependence on each other is similar and due seemingly to some inner lack in themselves." She added: "Together, the Sussexes are a phenomenon, inescapably visible, if increasingly hard to explain." She also said further down: "There is something almost heroic in the way they have held their perilous ground, disdaining all compromise, unmoved by their vociferous critics. They have faced every conceivable form of attack that rational people are capable of mounting and yet they have scarcely budged an inch."
Petronella isn't the only person who has spoken against the gossip—a source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talked to Page Six this week to call the rumors "literally made up," following other supposed insiders telling RadarOnline recently that the couple will be "taking time apart" following recent personal and professional disappointments.
Insider Claims Harry And Meghan Divorce Rumors Are Just 'Not True'
The couple has certainly faced their fair share of challenges as of late: their Spotify deal ended, with one exec at the company publicly calling them "grifters"; their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, failed to garner any Emmy nominations; and the Prince's controversial memoir, Spare, has continued to attract criticism from both the media and royal family sources. And, speaking of the royal family, things on that front are not any better—Prince Harry attended King Charles' coronation in early May solo while Meghan stayed home with the pair's children in Montecito, California. Relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals are reportedly quite tense, especially in light of the bombshell family revelations Harry divulged in Spare. Could there be trouble much closer to home, too?
Not according to one insider: "It’s not true. It’s literally made up," the source stated to Page Six about rumors of a possible Sussex divorce.
Other sources have argued differently, however. "The Sussexes are under tremendous financial pressure to fund their lavish California lifestyle, including their $14 million mansion and huge security costs," the insider told RadarOnline earlier this week. "That stress coupled with their emotional issues has likely made life a living hell. Taking time apart on different continents will hopefully help them find whatever they need to move on." The anonymous authority also commented, "They're trying to figure out what hit them...Harry doesn't fit in Meghan's tacky Tinseltown world." An anonymous tipster also recently told Deuxmoi that the couple had "sold their mansion in Montecito" and Harry was "living in another place."
Neither Prince Harry nor Meghan have yet commented directly about the speculation. The Prince will soon be heading to Africa to film another Netflix docuseries, this time without his wife by his side.
