Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not shy away from legal battles. In fact, many think that the couple is all too willing to pick a fight with the British tabloids–whether their concerns are legitimate or not.
Despite some backlash from the British public, the two continue to take their suits to court. And now it’s Harry’s turn to sue the British tabloids for libel.
According to The Telegraph, Prince Harry has taken issue with the Mail on Sunday, suing the paper for libel for a story they published in October. The tabloid alleged that Harry has fallen out of touch with the British Marines since quitting as a working royal in March.
After the story was published, Harry's lawyers sent a legal warning to the tabloid, claiming the story was "false and defamatory."
Although Harry might have a legitimate reason to sue the paper for libel, the decision definitely raised some eyebrows--especially since Meghan Markle is suing the same paper.
Markle is currently suing the Mail on Sunday and its publisher, Associated Newspapers, for publishing a private letter she had written to her estranged father, Thomas Markle.
It seems like few people are on the couple's side, however.
On Instagram, many decided to complain about Harry's latest legal move.
One commented, "Another bright idea from Meghan. Still running Harry?"
Another wrote, "Get over yourselves. You need to humble yourselves...really."
"It look to me like he need money. Can’t find a job," a third critic chimed in.
However, there was the occasional supporter in the midst of these negative comments.
"You go Harry! Sue them all! enough is enough!" one wrote.
