Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to appear in a new Netflix series—and we honestly can’t wait.

In a recent article published by Page Six, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “signed on for a multi-million deal with the streamer in 2020 after moving to the US.” As a result, Netflix was given access to the personal lives of the couple and will be creating an at-home docuseries about it.

So, what exactly can we expect from this new project? Sources say that it will include behind-the-scenes content from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14 million home in Montecito, California, as well as moments from their trip to New York City in September 2021. As of this writing, it is still unclear as to whether or not their children, Archie (3 y.o.) and Lilibet (11 months old), were filmed too.

Additionally, the docuseries will also feature the time when they traveled to The Hague, Netherlands for the Invictus Games (an event that Prince Harry pioneered which “embodies the fighting spirit of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and personifies what [they] can achieve post injury).

According to an article published by The Daily Mail, “News of the couple’s alleged docuseries will undoubtedly spark major concerns behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace over what allegations they could drop about the royal family in front of the cameras.”

In fact, the couple has specifically received negative comments from British writer and biographer Tom Bower, especially when they paid a visit to the Queen prior to the Invictus Games. As stated in his conversation with The Daily Mail, “he sensationally branded the Sussexes ‘the Royal Family’s worst traducers’ and accused the couple of ‘exploiting an old, unwell woman to boost their credibility and coffers.'” Bower believes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are doing such things all for the sake of their show.

As far as the timeline goes, Page Six reports that one “producer in the know” said, “The timing is still being discussed. Things are up in the air.” Insiders claim that Netflix hopes to release the series by the end of the year so that it falls just around the time Prince Harry’s memoir is published.

Sounds like some interesting content lie ahead of us. We’ll definitely keep tabs on this!
