Reese Witherspoon And Natalie Portman Have So Much In Common
An insider told Life & Style that the 48-year-old Reese's Book Club founder has been there for the 43-year-old May December actress following her divorce, and it's been very easy for the pair to bond because they have so much in common.
As well as both being Oscar winners (for Walk the Line and Black Swan, respectively) Reese and Natalie also have the shared experience of going through divorces at the same time too.
Reese went through a "difficult" divorce after 11 years of marriage to Jim Toth, 54, back in 2023, while Natalie finalized her divorce from the 47-year-old French choreographer and dancer in February 2024.

"Reese has been someone putting in work to coax Natalie out of her shell a little bit, just because they have so much in common," Life & Style's insider claimed, before going on to talk about their special bond.

They added: "It's also been a weird coincidence that their marriages fell apart basically during the same time period, and when the writing was on the wall for Natalie that she and Ben were through, Reese is one of the people who stepped up to be supportive of Natalie behind the scenes, helping her navigate some uncharted waters."
