Rosie O'Donnell Shows Off Her Weight Loss In A New Instagram Post
The comedian has been stunning her fans and social media followers with a lot of posts these days, from her eloquent Substack posts to her online battles with President Donald Trump. However, she's also had them amazed with how much weight she's lost over the years. In past social media posts, she's revealed that she was prescribed Mounjaro, a popular weight loss medication for her type-2 diabetes, which made it harder for her to lose weight.
Since then, she's posted a few pictures of herself to show off her results, and one of her most recent pictures proved she's made quite a difference in her health. In one of her latest Instagram posts, from August 13th, Rosie shared a snap that her friends took of her in a dressing room, shopping for clothes before a long flight to Australia.
"So I went shopping to buy a comfy loungewear outfit for my 22-hour flight to Australia," wrote Rosie in her caption. "I was undecided as I can't see myself in this new, smaller body. Cam [and] Robin took this photo of me in the dressing room. I'm shocked I am a [size] 12."
In the picture, a slimmed-down Rosie can be seen posing in loungewear, and it's incredible how much weight she's lost, even though she has yet to share just how many pounds she's lost.
"Mounjaro is a lifesaver," she added.
Rosie Admits She's Lost More Weight After Moving From The United States To Ireland
Earlier this year, the actress checked in with her fans and followers on TikTok to give them an update about her move from America to Ireland. She openly expressed that the re-election of President Donald Trump, whom she's publicly fought on the internet, was a big influence on her decision, and has been letting her fan base and the world know how much happier she and her children are since moving there.
One of the things that has changed about her lifestyle is that she feels healthier in Ireland, moving her body a lot more by going on walks to enjoy the scenic beauties of the country.
"I've lost more weight here," said the mom of five in a TikTok video. "I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes, and one of the side effects is that you lose weight."
"I'm one of those people who's always had a weight issue and now that I'm a size large, instead of an XL or a 2XL, I find it shocking," she added.
More celebrities are opening up about their use of weight loss drugs, one of the more recent ones being Serena Williams. Yet Rosie's transparency about her Mounjaro experience and honesty about the journey have a lot of fans cheering her on.
"You look wonderful, Rosie," wrote a fan under her Instagram post. "You go, girl."
