Ryan Seacrest is no stranger to hosting TV shows, but his hosting skills have been called into question by loyal Wheel of Fortune viewers.

The former Live! with Kelly and Ryan star took over from Pat Sajak as Wheel of Fortune host back in September; and to say there were mixed reactions to Sajak’s replacement would be a huge understatement.

Ryan Seacrest's 'Wheel Of Fortune' Hosting Is Slammed Online

Seacrest understandably had large shoes to fill when he took on the job, but he has now faced criticism from die-hard viewers for something he is seemingly forgetting to do on the show.

The American Idol host is being slammed on Reddit for forgetting to remind Wheel of Fortune contestants "to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt."

The day after the Monday, January 27th episode aired, one viewer took to Reddit to make the above complaint, and added: "I'm not sure if he's been forgetting too much or he's just being lazy to remind the player."

Fans Don't Think Ryan Seacrest 'Actually Loves The Game'

The above remark was just the beginning, as many other Wheel of Fortune fans took to Reddit to air their own grievances…

"I think the more annoying thing is when he doesn't remind them to call a letter before they solve in the last round when time is running out," another viewer noted, before pointing out: "Lady today lost out on 1500 or so."

"I hate the way he shows the money and the bonus round," wrote another disgruntled viewer. They added: "He holds the card up against his chest and builds up the suspense, and it's 40K. Sad slide whistle."

"I just don't believe that he actually loves the game itself," speculated another viewer. "And as the host, he should be pointing out to the players when they have the clock ticking or 'Don't want to guess a letter first?' It [would show] he cares about everyone doing well," they continued, before concluding: "And good grief — announce the dollar amount of the prize money at the end of the final spin."

Many others just didn't think that the Ryan Seacrest Foundation founder was a good replacement for Sajak.

"I got downvoted the other day in the comments (comments of a post I made) where I said I don't really care much for Ryan as a host lol on top of his struggles with that, I also don't find him nearly as charismatic or funny," criticized another fan, adding: "Pat had great energy and the best quips. I miss him."

"He is not Pat – they could have picked a better host," echoed another fan. "My biggest concern – mainly – he's tooo wishey/washy – very touchy to men and women. Too touchy for me. Reminds me of Biden always touching creepy like. We knew it would be difficult to fill Pat Sajak's shoes but he is NOT the right fit. Next!"
