On December 16th, Hayek shared a photo collection post in honor of her friend Cruz, 49, and its first image showed the two actresses embracing each other while donning chic ensembles at the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills.
The Eternals star sported a brown, curve-hugging leather gown with a low-cut neckline while the Vicky Cristina Barcelona star went for a tweed, all-white get-up with shimmering silver buttons.

Hayek captioned her upload: “I’m so proud of you, my brilliant friend, for your outstanding performance in FERRARI.” The Oscar winner continued: “Your talent will never fail to amaze me, here’s to you my friend!” In the pic, Hayek can be seen wearing subtle eyeliner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a dark pink pout while Cruz dazzled up her features with kohl-rimmed liner, sky-high lashes, glowing blush and a glossy pink lip.
While the Vanilla Sky star parted her chestnut brown locks to the side and pinned in a half-up, half-down style, Hayek wore her raven hair down, parted in the center and styled sleek-straight, with several natural gray strands at her crown area on display. As seen in her comment section, Hayek’s fans praised the Magic Mike’s Last Dance star for choosing to show off her grays.
