Salma Hayek Stars In An Episode Of The 'Beauty Secrets' Web Series
On June 3rd, Vogue released a new episode of their "Beauty Secrets" series on YouTube, where celebrities film themselves getting ready in a bathroom mirror. The celebrities have ranged from models like Bella Hadid to pop singers like Ariana Grande. The stars of the series will typically go through their everyday or special event skincare and makeup routines, oftentimes sharing little tricks they've learned along the way.
The Frida actress's episode of the web series was a big deal for pop culture lovers, as for years, she's been labeled as one of the most gorgeous and ageless women in the entertainment industry. She's famous for her glowing skin and long black hair, looking like she's nowhere near 58 years old.
Before getting into her makeup and showing her audience her favorite hair trick, she dove into her skincare routine, which some people have been begging for, given she seemingly has hardly any fine lines or wrinkles. Other than using two undereye pads and a hydrating face mask simultaneously, she shared a beauty secret passed down from her grandmother, who she said was "obsessed" with beauty and even made her own products.
"My grandmother taught me not to wash my face in the morning because then you take off all the good oils that your skin works so hard, all night, you know, to have," she revealed.

Salma Hayek Shares The Unconventional Trick For Covering Her Gray Roots
Aside from her skincare and makeup routine, the award-winning actress also let her fans in on her favorite secret for covering up grey hairs without having to constantly dye her hair.
"I also do makeup on my hair," she shared. "I do not dye my hair."
She leaned closer to the camera to let her viewers get a good look at the grey hairs she had growing from the crown and sides of her head, normalizing the process and eventually sharing her slightly unconventional trick for temporarily covering them up.
"I use mascara," she said.
The mom of one then began using a mascara wand through her hair to slowly cover up her greys, noting that she likes using the eye-intended product as it also pushes her hair back slightly and keeps it out of her face.
"You have to change your makeup and beauty routine as you get older," she added with a laugh.
"Maybe what worked before is not working now, so it's good to be a little adventurous and creative. Try to have fun while you're doing it."
Fans were impressed not only by her mascara tip, which isn't always portrayed in the media but also by her laid-back beauty routine emphasizing your natural looks.
"I love how she doesn't hide her imperfections; she uses them," wrote a YouTube user in the comments section.
