During her appearance at the event, which was hosted by chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, Casey Bloys, Hayek discussed the HBO original Mexican series Like Water For Chocolate with Mariano César, the senior VP of general entertainment content and programming strategy for Latin America and US Hispanic at Warner Bros Discovery.
She later shared some pictures from the event with her 29.1M Instagram followers (check out the post here) and revealed that the series, which she is Executive Producer of, will return for a second (and final) season. How exciting!
Salma Hayek Rocks A Burgundy Dress And Suede Knee-High Boots While Announcing Season 2 Of ‘Like Water For Chocolate’
The 58-year-old Without Blood actress shared the news that the series will return for a second season on Instagram on December 9th, alongside two images of herself in the burgundy ensemble.
She captioned the post: “I was so honored to be invited by #CaseyBloys and @cesarmarianocesar to announce officially that #LikeWaterForChocolate will have a second season after the great success of the first one. Thank you to all of you who watched it and made this happen! #MAX @hbolatam.”
In the pictures, the Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress was wearing a dreamy burgundy dress, featuring long semi-sheer sleeves and a semi-sheer turtleneck, as well as a floaty skirt. She accessorized the dress with some equally stylish brown suede knee-high boots, and wore her dark locks in a sleek, center-parted straight down do.
