Schnucks Cream Cheese Spread Recall
The following cream cheese spreads are affected by this recall:
- Schnucks Whip Cream Spread, UPC: 4131858005, best-by-date: August 8, 2024.
- Schnucks Strawberry Spread, UPC: 4131858007, best-by-date: Sept. 8, 2024.
- Schnucks Cream Cheese Spread, UPC: 4131858023, best-by-date: Oct. 8, 2024.
If you are in possession of any of these products, the company urges you to discard of them or return them to the nearest Schnucks store for a full refund.
If consumed, these products may lead to salmonellosis, an infection that can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps within six hours to six days. People with weakened immune systems, older adults, and infants are at higher risk.
