Selena Gomez Rocks An All-Black Outfit During Date Night With Benny Blanco
The future spouses recently took a night off from their work schedules and hit West Hollywood for date night and some time with friends at a sushi restaurant. It's the first time they've been seen outside an interview setting in a while, as they've been all over promoting their first collaborative album since getting engaged, I Said I Love You First, and Selena's finished up filming season five of Only Murders In The Building.
For their dinner out, the singer-songwriter stunned in an all-black outfit. It consisted of a long, black coat with a tied waist and a coordinating, drapey, maxi dress. She kept her accessories nice and dark too, aside from her large diamond engagement ring, and paired the look with simple black ballet flats and a thick black belt with a gold buckle.
The award-winning producer kept things a bit more casual, sporting a cropped baby blue short-sleeved button-down shirt with two patches, one for Coors beer and the other being a 'Jesus' nametag. He paired the quirky top with khaki trousers and some gold jewelry. Photos of them during their evening out can be seen here!
Benny Says He And Selena Are 'Excited' To Plan Their Wedding
Although they've been engaged since last December, the power couple hasn't had time to plan their wedding as much as most couples would at this point.
In a new podcast interview with host Jake Shane, the 37-year-old songwriter said they're "both working on so many things" that they "hadn't even had time to get into it."
"But we're so excited," he added.
Benny also mentioned that once some of their current career ventures slow down, the pair would take some time over the summer to nail down the most basic details of their upcoming ceremony, which he expects will be "chill" and "amazing."
No matter how long they're taking in regards to wedding planning, the couple seems more solid and open about their happiness than ever.
"Ten years ago, I wasn't in a space in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of unconditional love that he gives me," admitted Selena in their famous Interview story.
