Despite sporting her traditional dark brunette locks in Instagram pictures from her 31st birthday on July 22nd, Selena Gomez shared some photos of herself rocking blonde hair just a few days prior, which understandably sent her fans into a frenzy!
On July 17th, the Only Murders in the Building actress shared a four-image carousel of pictures with her 426M Instagram followers, all of which showed her with blonde hair!

Selena Gomez Reveals Blonde Hair On Instagram
Selena simply captioned her post with a girl with blonde hair emoji, so as not to give anything away. However, internet sleuths and keen Selenators think that the blonde hair pictures were throwback snaps taken from the set of her new movie, Emilia Perez, (a crime musical also starring Zoe Saldaña and Edgar Ramírez) as she shared some blonde hair images from her time in Paris, where the movie was filmed, the month before.
The first picture of Selena with new blonde hair was in a carousel of images she shared on June 23rd (see the pic above) with the caption: "Thank you Paris for being a home to me for two months! I loved every moment. Working on this film has completely changed my life. I can’t wait to share more soon! Love you all." She finished off with a white heart emoji.
Although she is back to her dark locks now, Selena's temporary hair transformation understandably got a lot of love in the comments section, with Paris Hilton even dropping her iconic catchphrase, "That’s Hot," followed by the heart eyes emoji.
