The Only Murders in the Building actress uploaded a video for the Rare Beauty IG page that showed her rock a minimal makeup look as she applied her brand‘s ‘Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara.’ Gomez opened up about her journey with lash extensions and replacing them with a product that made her feel even more natural and made her lashes look fuller.

In the clip, the “Lose You To Love me” hitmaker (who often posts makeup-free selfies for her 455 million IG followers) once again flaunted her supple and flawless skin. For the new video, Gomez slicked back her brunette tresses into a sleek updo, emphasizing her sculpted facial features and shiny gold hoop earrings and studs.
She deemed her mascara to be one of her “proudest creations,” explaining that she used to wear lash extensions and found herself “losing a lot of” her natural lashes. “When I started to create the line and I knew we were going to come up with a mascara, I was like ‘okay well I’m going to stop getting lash extensions and really try to find the right mascara that will help my lashes look full, feel full, but I was also fearful of creating that because it’s a lot of pressure,'” she recalled.

Fans Praise Gomez’s Mascara And ‘All-Natural Beauty’
The “My Mind & Me” singer added that she aimed to create a versatile mascara that anyone with “curly lashes, straight-down lashes or sparse lashes” could use, and that she felt confident that she indeed did so.
