Serena Williams Stars In A Super Bowl Commercial For Ro After Admitting To Taking GLP-1 Medication
Over the last few years, fans and other tennis lovers have been cheering on the mom-of-two, who began opening up to her social media followers about wanting to lose some excess baby weight and get in better shape after having her second daughter, Adira River, in 2023. She posted videos of her trying to fit into old clothes, and has been sharing lots of new snaps of her slimmed-down figure since then.
However, a lot changed last August, when she proudly admitted she had started taking a GLP-1 medication to lose 34 pounds. Not only did she say she was using the medication, but she also became a brand ambassador and partnered with Ro, a popular service that provides GLP-1 medications to those who may struggle to get them from their health providers or through their insurance.
Now that Super Bowl season is here, Ro decided to release a Super Bowl LX commercial and have Serena be the star of it. She can be seen in a blue outfit, mimicking injecting herself with the medication, and saying she was "healthier on Ro" and "supported on Ro."
