The partnership all started when Sézane founder, Morgane Sézalory, met with the Sea NY design duo Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan, in Paris. From their meeting, a fabulous summer-inspired, 11-piece collection was born.
Sézalory loved the romantic English embroideries, beautiful prints, and feminine silhouettes of Paolini and Monahan’s clothing. With one common vision in mind–to create a line of polished, easy-to-wear feminine pieces–Sézane and Sea came together to make their dream a reality.
“I totally fell in love with SEA universe and also with Sean & Monica’s personalities! The way they work with English embroideries and prints is why I am so happy and proud to have this capsule collection with them! The Sézane x Sea New York capsule collection features nine styles named after New York neighborhoods and boroughs, such as Brooklyn, Hamptons, Greenwich, and Soho. Available in rich colors like terracotta, slate, and ecru, this limited edition collection will easily carry you through the last few weeks of this hot New York City summer and into fall.
