It’s only been a couple of weeks since Shakira sent social media crazy with her song, so far titled, “SHAKIRA || BZRP Music Sessions #53” or simply “#53,” with Bizarrap. The singer, 46, directed her latest song at Gerard Piqué, 36, and his current partner Clara Chia Marti, 23. Her song has garnered more than 280 million views on YouTube already. The Columbian pop singer recently released dance videos to her revenge song in an extreme ab-baring cut-out crop top on Instagram.

Shakira Shows Off Her Incredible Abs Dancing In A Cut-Out Crop Top

The Instagram video Shakira posted consisted of a split screen of her dancing in a studio and a remix video from YouTube of her singing the song. The “She Wolf” singer donned a black crop top with long sleeves. The sleeves have thumb holes and cut-outs that go all the way down her arms. The top of her shirt had a keyhole shape on her chest and on her lower back.

Shakira styled her honey-blonde hair straight in a half-up, half-down updo. And, as for makeup, she kept it simple with a light smokey eye and blush-pink lipstick. To complete her dancing workout look, the Columbian singer wore baggy, black and white dance pants.

The singer captioned the post with a play on a line from the song, which addresses her split from Piqué. “Las mujeres ya no lloran las mujeres bailan merengue!” she captioned her post in Spanish. In English, the line translates to, “Women don’t cry anymore, women dance merengue!”

The choreography has gone viral and we’re sure it will become a trend on TikTok soon. Her Instagram video has garnered 1.9 million likes while another video she did on Jan. 18 got over 5 million likes. Fans are obviously obsessed with the outfit and the choreography. One fan wrote, “Shakira, your ex-boyfriend will never find someone better than you.” while another commented, “Got me wanting to clean the house listening to this song!” and another person wrote, “Without a doubt, you are an inspiration.”

Shakira Opens Up About Her Difficult Split From Gerard Piqué

The post that Shakira shared on Instagram of her dancing seemed to be in response to her ex Piqué going Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Marti, on Jan. 25. “#53” is a searing breakup anthem that includes some major digs at Piqué. Including lines like, “You left me the in-laws as my neighbors / Media outlets at my door and in debt,” she sings. “You thought you hurt me, but you made me stronger / Women don’t cry anymore, they cash in.” She also says she was out of her ex’s league. Fans seem to agree!

Shakira and Piqué first announced their split in late June of 2022. At the time, the couple, who share two sons, released a joint statement that read, “We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

Even though the split seemed to be amicable, it soon got messy with rumors that a jam jar played a role in Shakira discovering Piqué was cheating on her. Apparently, Shakira was able to confirm that Piqué’s mistress had been in her house because her favorite jam (that her sons and ex, Piqué hate) was eaten. The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer confirmed that it was difficult to deal with her breakup in such a scrutinizing public eye. “This is really hard to talk about personally, especially as this is the first time I’ve ever addressed this situation in an interview,” she told Elle in September 2022.

“I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all,” she continued. “Um, and yeah, it’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye, and because our separation is not like a regular separation. And so it’s been tough not only for me but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult. I have paparazzi camping outside, in front of my house, 24/7.” Shakira added, “Sometimes I just feel like this is all a bad dream and that I’m going to wake up at some point. But no, it’s real.”
