Shakira Tells Fans That She Had To Cancel Her Show In Peru Due To Hospitalization

The "Soltera" singer  took to social media on Sunday, February 16th to let her fans know that she would be canceling her show at the last minute, as well as telling them the reason why.

"I'm sorry to let you all know that last night I had to go to the emergency room for an abdominal issue and I'm currently hospitalized," the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker wrote on Instagram and X.

"The doctors taking care of me have let me know that I'm not well enough to perform tonight," the "El Jefe" singer continued, adding: "I am very sad that I will not be able to take the stage today. I have been deeply emotional and excited about reuniting with my beloved Peruvian audience."

"I hope to be better by tomorrow and that they release me from the hospital as soon as possible to be able to put on the show that I've prepared for you all," the ageless performer concluded.
