Melissa McCarthy Flaunts Her Weight Loss In A Black Gown At The Golden Globes
Although she's continued to take on hilarious acting projects, like her recent Saturday Night Live episode, the Bridesmaids icon seems to be making more headlines than ever surrounding her latest body transformation.
She turned heads last night on the red carpet and onstage at the 2026 Golden Globes, where she was a noteworthy attendee and also presented the awards for the Male and Female Actors In A Limited/Anthology Series/TV Movie. For the ceremony, she wore a figure-hugging, long black gown designed by Christian Siriano.
Melissa's dress had geometric, metallic embellishments going down the dress's plunging neckline and on the ends of her sleeves. She paired the dress with some matching gold accessories, including sparkling, dangling gold earrings, some gold jewelry, and a shimmery gold clutch. Fans were also surprised by her hair, as it was straightened and worn in a super high, long ponytail.

Over the last decade, the Identity Thief performer has opened up about how she decided to transform her health and work on getting stronger and leaner over the years. Instead of explaining what diet she's been on or specifically which exercises she's been doing, Melissa revealed it was letting go of harsh standards and stress that made the biggest difference.
"I think everybody's always kind of working on something. And I was like, 'If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something,' and then it actually worked better instead of being like, 'I'm gonna not do this and do this and only drink this,'" she said in a 2018 interview.
Her healthier lifestyle has clearly been working, and fans let her know on platforms like Reddit, X, and Instagram after last night, noting that "she looks fantastic."
