Shakira can do no wrong at the moment. Just one month after blowing fans away with several red-hot outfits at the MTV VMAs, the Video Vanguard Award winner is making jaws drop once again – this time inside the pages of British Vogue.
We know we say this about every issue, but the November 2023 issue of British Vogue is a particularly special one, as it celebrates the iconic Vogue House which has been the home of the British fashion bible, and many other publications, for the past 65 years. Shakira, and models such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Irina Shayk, and Emily Ratajkowski, among others, can all be seen posing at the Hanover Square, Mayfair office for one last time before Condé Nast relocates to new offices at The Adelphi on Thames Embankment next year. Shakira Rocks Mermaidcore Look In 'British Vogue'
The 46-year-old truly ageless Colombian singer's photoshoot was definitely among our favorites, and she can be seen posing on a storage box inside an elevator next to former Burberry and Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci.
Perhaps the most standout part of Shakira's look is her attention-grabbing black mermaid tail from Planet Mermaid – the exact color is called 'Midnight Moon,' FYI – which she teamed with an ab-baring black shell bikini top, an oversized zip-up bomber jacket, and black patent gloves. We've seen a lot of mermaidcore looks this year thanks to the release of the live-action Little Mermaid movie, but this might be our favorite one yet!
The "Hips Don't Lie" singer's honey blonde curly hair can be seen tumbling down her body, and according to hair stylist Liam Curran, was achieved using Umberto Giannini Curl Scrunching Jelly, Heat Shield Frizz Control Spray, and Curl Oil Bond Repair products.
