Black Sabbath fans are eagerly anticipating Ozzy Osbourne‘s return to the stage for the first time in two decades, marking his farewell performance this July. Recently, his wife, Sharon Osbourne, informed The Sun that Ozzy’s ability to walk has deteriorated due to the ongoing effects of Parkinson’s disease. The former talk show host, 72, provided fans with the latest information regarding the classic rock icon’s health and condition.

Regarding her “Crazy Train” hitmaker husband, 76,  Sharon told the outlet: “He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this.” She added: “Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs.” However, Sharon stressed that Ozzy’s voice is “as good as it’s ever been.”

Sharon Osbourne Shares the Latest on Husband Ozzy's Health as He Battles 'Progressive' Parkinson's

Ozzy talked about his health status on his SiriusXM radio program, according to the publication. The "Mama, I'm Coming Home" singer noted: "I have made it to 2025. I can’t walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive."

The "Prince of Darkness" continued: "I may be moaning that I can’t walk but I look down the road and there’s people that didn’t do half as much as me and didn’t make it." Sharon later explained to RadioX that Ozzy needs to have daily sessions with a physical therapist to maintain his muscle function.

"He’s fine," the music manager said, adding that Ozzy is "as fine as you can be with Parkinson's." The "Godfather of Metal" received a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2003. After undergoing his fourth spinal surgery in September 2023, Ozzy (who shares three children with Sharon: Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39), concentrated on improving his health and mobility.

Last year, while speaking on his family's podcast, The Osbournes, Ozzy mentioned that the many surgeries were wearing him down. He shared: "Tomorrow I have my final surgery on my neck." He added: "it is gonna be the final surgery because I can't do it anymore. Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I'm not doing it anymore. I can't."

He confessed: "My feet feel like I've got bricks tied to them when I'm walking." He went on: "I walked upstairs today and downstairs for the first time in a while, and my feet feel like I've got diving boots on when I'm walking. I think it's the nerves… Then I was thinking, maybe I just need to get up off my ass and walk around the block a few times."

The "No More Tears" rocker also told his critics to "f---k off" regarding his recent health struggles. He stressed: "I’m far from being on my last leg." Fans and commenters on social media continue to send their heartfelt messages to Ozzy as he fights the progressing neurological illness that impacts his movement, balance, and coordination.
