CBS's statement read: "As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace."

"Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers."

The show, which has been on hiatus, will return on April 12.

ICYMI, Osbourne first landed herself in hot water after fiercely defending Piers Morgan's comments on Meghan Markle during a conversation with co-host Sheryl Underwood.

As the scandal escalated, it turned to Osbourne's alleged history of racist behavior. Specifically, a former "The Talk" co-host Holly Robinson Peete reminded Twitter of her own experience with Osbourne.

Osbourne replied to the criticism with a Twitter statement of her own.

Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan

Although Osbourne has now left the show, it looks like the scandal is far from over. The Mail on Sunday has reported that Osbourne "plans to take the broadcaster all the way for damages over her departure."

An insider told the outlet, "She feels a few suits at CBS have really done for her here. Sharon won't let this go."

Taking to Twitter, Morgan has also commented on the current situation. He wrote, "What's happened to @sharonosbourne is an absolute disgrace that shames CBS."
