If you ask us, 2021 was the year of Dua Lipa. From blazers and bras, to butterfly crop tops and thong pants, the 26-year-old “We’re Good” singer stepped up her style to a whole new level. Dua has been serving one super sexy ensemble after another and we’re living for every trend she tries.
She especially loved the sheer trend towards the end of the year, wearing booty-baring sheer dresses and see-through tops. But when we saw the completely sheer gown she just wore on the red carpet, we couldn’t get over how revealing it was!

Just when we thought Dua Lipa couldn’t get any hotter or wear something sexier than she already has, she stepped out on the red carpet in the totally sheer gown. The brunette babe left us speechless in this see-through green Stella McCartney gown with matching green lingerie underneath. The “IDGAF” clearly lived up to her iconic song with this look—not caring at all that her underwear was on FULL display. Because her look is so sexy, it’s hard to believe she actually wore it to attend the UNICEF charity event in St. Barts where she was also vacation during the holidays after splitting from long-term boyfriend Anwar Hadid.
Dua definitely isn’t alone in loving the sheer trend. 2021 saw SO many celebs stripping down to ultra-sexy sheer looks. And we might just be in the first week of the new year, but it looks like the trend isn’t showing any signs of ending anytime soon. Jennifer Lopez recently stepped out on the red carpet to support beau Ben Affleck in a plunging neckline sheer gown that left us speechless. Charli D’Amelio wore a head-to-toe sheer lace fit on Instagram that we still haven’t recovered from. And Zendaya has been sporting one sheer ensemble after another—from her completely sheer top on the cover of Interview Magazine to her Spiderman red carpet looks.
