It’s rare that you find a new clothing brand to love–especially one that’s actually affordable. With cheaper brands, the clothes look decent online but once you try them on, the quality and/or fit is terrible and you understand why they’re so cheap. So you end up sticking to those *same four stores* you’ve been shopping for years. Yawn! That’s why we’re so excited to tell you about about an extremely affordable, high quality AND on-trend line that our staffers are obsessed with currently: AFRM.
The brand popped up on my Insta earlier this year, and like many Instagram clothing stores the candid, festival-ready influencers on their feed caught my eye. Kourtney Kardashian is even a fan.
Upon checking out their site I realized that they release small batches of limited edition collections every few weeks. How exciting. The offering is a nice combination of dressy dresses (totally wedding guest-worthy), festival or going-out tops, and even some work-appropriate pieces to mix into your wardrobe to really step things up a notch. They’ve got some really unique prints and colorways, and every single item is on trend. I mean every single one. The hardest part was choosing which items to try (full disclosure, AFRM gifted me samples for this review).
Our team chose two pieces for this write-up: a black keyhole midi dress for me, and a black and white polka dot number for my colleague Paige. Paige is the office trendsetter, and I thought this fashion-forward brand had her name all over it. I was right. AFRM is totally what the cool girl in your office would wear. Amirite??

We got the pieces a few weeks later, and we’re both super taken aback at how good the quality was. The Viscose/Rayon fabric they use is substantial and soft. The hemlines were perfect–the garments are definitely a cut above other similar fast fashion brands.
