Going on long car rides cane either be extremely peaceful, or extremely dreadful. Sitting in traffic for hours when you have to use the bathroom is one of the worst feelings in the world, so make sure you're eating right to avoid any emergency bathroom trips!

Eating right during a long car ride can seem difficult, but it's not impossible! All you have to do is avoid one major obstacle...
Avoid any fast food at all costs! While stopping at the drive-thru is very convenient, it's not doing your body any favors. These foods are high in fat, salt, and empty calories that will only go straight to your thighs.
On top of all the weight gain, these foods are also known to cause inflammation and bloating, two things you definitely don't want to deal with when driving down the highway for the whole day.
So, as tempting as it may be, stay away from the drive-thru! You're safest bet is to pre-pack a snack or small meal, like apples with peanut butter or trail mix, to keep your stomach happy and your body healthy!
