Kelly Ripa gave her fans an exclusive look at her transformation into Glinda from Wicked last week, drawing inspiration from Ariana Grande for her half-up, half-down curly hairstyles as seen in the film.
The LIVE with Kelly and Mark host, 54, also sported a rosy, feminine makeup style with shimmering eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and glossy lips.
When Ripa posted a video showcasing her glam team’s work, many fans were surprised by her striking new appearance (and just how much she resembled Grande, 31).

Ripa gave her 3 million followers a sneak peek of her glam team (Kristofer Buckle and Ryan Trygstad) transforming her into the “Positions” singer’s character from the Oscar-winning film in a new Instagram video on February 26th.
The clip started with a time lapse of Ripa in a chair as the makeup and hair artists worked on her, applying Glinda’s makeup and styling her blonde hair.
Next, the video showed Ripa mimicking Grande’s playful and signature smile from the movie and taking selfies. It then featured several photos of Ripa dressed in various Glinda outfits from the musical live-action flick.

Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts on Ripa's new look. "This is terrifying," one wrote as another added, "Wow that’s creepy lol." Someone else added, "This is so disturbing and amazing. I’m so conflicted. Man people are so dang talented."

The mom of three and her husband, Mark Consuelos, also shared their pre-recorded opening for their talk show's "After the Oscars Show." They portrayed Glinda and Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey's role in the 2024 film).
Ripa, who looked strikingly like Grande in costume, even pranked Conseulos, 53) by having her assistant FaceTime him, pretending she wanted him to say hello to the pop star.
