According to a source who recently sat down with The Daily Mail, the “On the Floor” singer, 55, wants to get “revenge” and is planning for “next year to be her best year ever to show the world her crummy love life did not get her down.”
The “friend” of Lopez reportedly added: “She will rise.” The insider also dished that Lopez is launching a full-fledged campaign for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for the film, Unstoppable, in which she portrays a dedicated mother with a strong work ethic.

Affleck, 52, is actually one of the producers behind the film, which made its debut in the Special Presentations section at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th. His longtime friend Matt Damon also contributed as a producer for the movie, which is expected to have a limited theatrical release on December 6th, courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios.
According to the Daily Mail source, both Affleck and Damon, 54, are set to support Lopez in her bid to captivate the Academy. The tipster added that Lopez is now allegedly to hit the road for her Greatest Hits tour in the summer of 2025, following its cancellation this year due to her Affleck divorce.
The Maid in Manhattan star and Argo actor parted ways in April, and on August 20th—marking their second wedding anniversary—Lopez initiated divorce proceedings. As an additional source revealed to the outlet recently: "She wants an Oscar for Unstoppable."
They went on: "She is sensational in it, I saw the movie and wow, she nails it. I think a lot of people have discounted her acting skills because she is such a glamazon but this film is a wake up call, like, hey guys, she can really act her pants off."
Lopez is determined to secure an Oscar this time, according to the insider, especially after her vocal disappointment about not winning for her role in 2019's Hustlers. "'Jen wanted the Oscar for Hustlers and felt she deserved it, and she pretty much did but there is prejudice against her," the source noted.
They added: "There is a hope that she will get the gold for Unstoppable. It helps that she is now seen as the victim in the Affleck split. I think voters may want to give her the award now, they feel she has been through a lot." The tipster also shared that Lopez has plans for her 2025 greatest hits tour to be all about the "razzle dazzle" with "sexy outfits."
