When it comes to looking gorgeous on the red carpet, celebs have a few tricks up their sleeves.

One such trick is all about footwear. If you have to show some leg and want yours to look ten miles long, a la Blake Lively or Kendall Jenner, all you need to do is a grab a pair of ankle-strap nude sandals. Yes, it’s that simple.

While you might think stars would opt for a 6-inch Louboutin to make their legs look long and lean, the truth is that the ankle-strap sandal is Hollywood’s hardest working shoe.
