The White Lotus star, 27, has been single for a few months now, after ending her engagement to fiancé Jonathan Davino, 42, in February this year. And although the NFL broadcaster, 47, has been dating since his high-profile divorce from Gisele Bündchen in October 2022, with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk being one of the women he has dated, he is still reportedly single.
For a short moment, it really looked like Sweeney and Brady could have become an item after they reportedly got close at the aforementioned Bezos wedding. But Sweeney reportedly doesn't want that to happen, not only out of respect to her ex-fiancé, but also because she actually wants time alone after getting out of a long-term relationship. She reportedly also wants to prioritize her career, which is going from strength to strength!
Sydney Sweeney Reportedly Wants To 'Take Her Time' Following Split From Fiancé Jonathan Davino
According to Star magazine, an insider claims that the Anyone But You actress "swore to herself she would take her time" after her split from Davino earlier this year. "She just wants space to find her footing again," the insider added.
It goes without saying, but there has been "a parade of eligible bachelors trying to shoot their shot," but the insider explained that the Immaculate actress is "sticking to her guns" about wanting to stay single for the moment, despite some of these aforementioned eligible bachelors being "tempting."
"Starting up another romance right now is not the wise move," the source went on, before going on to say that she wants to "capitalize" on her "bankability" as a "single hot woman." Makes sense to us!
Tom Brady Is Reportedly Also Happy Being Single
The Madame Web actress's views may not be the only reason she and Tom aren't dating, as he reportedly is happy being single too!
"Tom loves being single and is enjoying his summer before he starts working again and he is not looking for a relationship," an insider told the Daily Mail, adding: "He is always weighing his options when it comes to dating anyone."
The source continued: "He's not looking to be settled down right now. He wants to just have fun. Flings and hookups are cool, but if anyone thinks they can have more with him right now, good luck!"
Tom was recently linked to Modern Family star Sofía Vergara, 53, after the pair hit it off during the Bezos festivities. They were spotted getting cozy on Ritz-Carlton's super yacht, Luminara, but it was a very short-lived romance. This is apparently because of Sofía's age!
"He sees Sofía as beautiful and his type, but he isn't going to start a relationship with her as she is older and stuck in her ways. He knows he could only take her in small doses," another insider spilled.
