Target’s Huge Announcement--We Did NOT See This Coming!

Target just announced a new owned food label, Favorite Day, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The big box store announced via release on March 9th that it would be launching the new “sweet and savory” food line–with an emphasis on treating yourself. Oh, and everything is under $15. Now this is what we all needed!

The Minneapolis-based chain casually announced "700 high-quality, carefully crafted items across bakery, snacks, candy, premium ice cream, cake decorating supplies, beverage mixers, mocktails," on their website.

The yummy offering will be available in Target stores on April 5th. It's "designed to help you make time for delicious moments, whether taking a second for yourself or enjoying with those you love," according to the release. We can't wait!

The brand will feature two lines: Favorite Day Bakery (baked goods such as cupcakes and breads) and and Favorite Day Gourmet (high-quality sweets like ice cream). We can hear our stomachs gurgling!

"We’re thrilled to build on Good & Gather’s success and the strength of Target’s food and beverage business by debuting our new owned brand, Favorite Day,” executive vice president and chief food and beverage officer Rick Gomez said in the release.
