We have HUGE news for Target shoppers in the New York area: the chain is opening a new location in Hell’s Kitchen this year!
A representative for Target confirmed that they are in fact opening the new space this year. We are so surprised!

The retail giant will move into a 29,000 square feet of space at 615 10th Avenue amid a struggling time for mom and pop business owners in New York.
The Real Deal reports that the company signed a lease for retail space at the base of Xinyuan Real Estate’s condominium project at 615 10th Avenue in 2016 and were set to move in last year.

Eagle-eyed New Yorkers are starting to notice signs of the opening. One user @mikehalden posted a video to Instagram this week showing the progress of the space. Eee! We are SO excited.

Not in the New York area? No worries, the company announced on its its second quarter earnings call that it expects to open 27 new stores before the end of the year. This is HUGE!
