The “Lavender Haze” singer, 35, was dressed in top-to-toe Gucci, flaunting her impossibly long legs in a black sequined silk and wool crepe mini skirt, teamed with a matching top. She accessorized with metallic platform heels and a Gucci Bamboo 1947 mini bag. Her hair was worn in a curly, chic updo to reveal some dazzling drop earrings, and she rocked her signature bold red lipstick.
For her part, the Only Murders in the Building actress, 32, looked polished in some tan wide-leg trousers and a matching blazer, teamed with a plunging halter-neck top tucked inside the trousers. She finished off with some gold pointed-toe heels. Her dark hair was worn in a slick updo, and she twinned with Taylor on the lipstick front, choosing a bold red shade to complement her friend’s.
Social Media Criticizes Taylor Swift’s Style
Unfortunately, Taylor’s look didn’t go down well on social media! “Just because it’s Gucci doesn’t mean it’s good style,” slammed one fan on Instagram. The same fan added: “The dress does not sit well on her frame, and her shoes, earrings, and purse overmatch like she’s trying to stick to a color theme for prom in the 90s. She’s a follower of style, not an independent creator of style.”
“Taylor’s dress is so ill-fitting on her body type,” criticized a second, as a third said: “Taylor has zero style.” “Tay Tay should hire Selena’s stylist,” suggested a fourth. “She’s always dressed soooo bad. Just never gets better,” concurred a fifth.
“Jail time to whoever is doing Taylor’s hair,” added a sixth, as a seventh came to her defense, saying: “Respectfully, not every meal out with a friend requires a blowout. It’s summer hair.” “God forbid a woman let her natural curls show,” agreed an eighth.
