1. Taylor’s Nails Are Undone
Reason #1 fans think Travis Kelce out-masterminded the mastermind: Taylor’s nails aren’t painted. If you look closely at photos 3, 4, and 5, there’s no polish on her nails. What’s the number one thing girls do when they know they’re getting engaged soon? Keep their nails polished—typically in neutral or bridal colors.
Plus, the soon-to-be Mrs. Kelce has been known to go crazy with the colors on her nails, using them as Easter eggs for different announcements. Something tells us that if Taylor knew Travis would be getting down on one knee, she would’ve picked the perfect pink to color her nails.

2. The Photos Are Not Taylor's Typical Style or Quality
Taylor Swift is nothing if not calculated. All of her posts on Instagram are perfectly curated, high quality, and similar dimensions. And her engagement announcement post with Travis? None of those things. Of course, we wouldn't expect her to make sure her engagement post aligns with the theme of her recent album promotion posts.
But, not all of the five photos are the same dimensions. While the first four photos are all horizontal, the final photo is vertical, and Taylor had to add a white border on the sides to ensure it didn't get cropped. All signs point to Travis booked the photographer! Plus, while the photos certainly aren't bad quality, they're not the usual quality we get from Ms. Swift's posts.
3. Taylor's In The Midst of Album Promotion
And finally, both Taylor and Travis have a ton of other stuff going on! Taylor just appeared on Travis's podcast, New Heights, a few weeks ago to announce her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. Since then, she's been dropping vinyl variants and pre-order opportunities what feels like every other day.
