Whether having a flatter stomach is something that you have been wanting for years or you recently decided it to be your New Year’s resolution, there are definitely steps that you can take to get the body you have always wanted.

Eating the right proteins could be the difference between shedding a few extra inches of your waist or being bloated the rest of the week (or year).

Grass fed beef

Grass-fed beef

Grass-fed beef is the ultimate lean meat for flat abs. The beef only has 234 calories compared to 386 calories in a regular strip of steak. Take that, belly fat!

Bison

Bison

This meat is perfect if you want flat abs and quick. Bison has only 2 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein, making it one of the leanest meats (which your body will thank you for). Also, bison is grass-fed, so no need to worry about pollutants and hormones that form body fat.

Chicken

Chicken

It isn’t one of the more exciting meats, but it will definitely take you to the next level when it comes to #bodygoals. A 3 oz chicken breast packs a protein punch with 26 grams and only 3 grams of fat. #Winning.

Turkey

Turkey

White meat turkey not only contains essential omega 3 acids, but also just the right amount of protein and fat for you to shed some bulk in the tummy area.
