This is huge news! Everybody’s favorite blogger-next-door Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam has finally dropped her own namesake clothing line. And it is SO good, guys.
The influencer, who touts 1.1M followers on Instagram, joins the ranks of Something Navy as one of the first style bloggers to launch her own line (in a time when they’re getting ripped off left and right). We’re so happy for her! Julia has impeccable taste and the dresses are gorgeous.
The collection will be dropped as limited run, monthly collections of about 25 pieces per month. Available at the Gal Meets Glam collection site and Nordstrom, the dresses are priced under $200 and size inclusive (00-20). Yay!
So–what does it look like? Expect the candy-colored hues Gal Meets Glam’s feeds are known for (there’s literally a dress color called “Cotton Cotton). You’ll find mauves, blues, whites, creams and more soft colors that fall right into that soft spot between preppy and romantic (or both), as well as a few prints. In other woods, it’s gorgeous.
The collection is perfect for bridesmaid dresses, graduation, wedding guests and other special occasions.
Expect lots of modest silhouettes, such as fit and flare skirts and below-the-knee hemlimes. Aka, your mama would be proud!
This one-shoulder dress has bridesmaids written all over it. So pretty!
We love the cold shoulder--so on trend!--on this romantic summer dress.
There are a few great navy moments in this April drop--and this fit and flare dress is one of them.
Ditto for gingham--this print pops up a few times through the collection, and we absolutely love how perfect it will look from Memorial Day to Labor Day this year.
Julia's girly aesthetic is on full display with the line, including this bow-neck Hanna dress.
This navy off-the-shoulder dress is the perfect wedding guest dress!
Gal Meets Glam Shelby Dress ($188)
One of the few prints in the collection is this spring-ready midi-length Shelby dress.
The Colleen also comes in a pretty pink. Of course!
This sleeveless button down dress shows off the more casual side of the collection.
In addition to pretty pinks and blues in the collection, there's also this lovely lilac.
