Kim Kardashian is officially becoming just as popular for her parenting and family lifestyle as she is for her beauty brand and reality career. However, her parenting choices are being put on trial once again.
The SKIMS founder is under fire online again after new photos of her 12-year-old daughter, North West, emerged, flaunting her new and controversial finger piercings. The internet was surprised to see that she had more than one, and upon closer look, noticed that the skin around the piercings looked as though it was infected. This led to a slew of comments from fans and other internet users who blamed it on Kim’s parenting choices. Read more about the piercings and the backlash below.
North West Shares New Photos Of Her Finger Piercings On Social Media
The famous firstborn of the Kardashian stars and Kanye West has been in the spotlight lately, as at 12 years old, she's now making a lot more public appearances and has a budding presence on social media.
However, with that, she's also developing her personal sense of style and experimenting with different looks, from short skirts to bright blue hair. Although there have been a few outfits that caused the internet to buzz, perhaps her most controversial style choice yet has been her finger piercings. The 12-year-old first revealed the more unconventional body jewelry last September with a shot of a dermal piercing on one of her middle fingers.
Since then, she's expanded her collection and recently showed them off on her hands in a new photo. The photo gave an upclose look at the new piercings, which were right next to each other and located underneath two of her knuckles. Her blue hair was on full display, as well as a set of black acrylic nails.

The Internet Slams Kim Kardashian's Parenting On Social Media
After the photos of North and her latest piercings were shared on social media platforms, there were several fans who wanted to hype her up, while others had a lot of concerns on their minds.
Not only did many internet users feel that the 12-year-old prodigy was too young to have those kinds of piercings, but they also took a closer look at them, noting they seemed infected in the pictures, which caused many to slam the KKW Beauty founder online.
One Instagram user wrote that her fingers "looked infected," as another wrote they were "beginning to keloid."
"Seems like her body is rejecting them," they continued. "She should probably take them out, although it appears scarring has already taken place."
"Thats very sad," added a user. "It's clear that neither Kim nor Kanye has parented their kids, and those kids will suffer for it."
"Terrible parenting," wrote another. "No 12-year-old should have to worry about infections or keloids at that age on her hands."
